ASSIGNMENT: Business Plan Development for Pinnacle West, LLC regarding multi-business project in Nicaragua centered on an exotic hardwood lumber business.

BACKGROUND: Pinnacle West is a small entrepreneurial company with a concentration of business in the land development area. Pinnacle West management had identified an opportunity in Nicaragua, but did not have the staff or resources to develop the comprehensive plans necessary to capitalize on the opportunity.

OUR SERVICE: Pinnacle West brought Concept Engineering Group into the project at its inception. Concept Engineering Group developed the initial position papers regarding sustainable lumber harvesting and the inclusion of related business ventures. After numerous consultation meetings to solidify the company strategy, Pinnacle West management commissioned Concept Engineering Group to prepare a Business Plan suitable for raising the required venture capital. Over a seven-week period in the spring of 2001, Concept Engineering Group developed a comprehensive Business Plan for Pinnacle West, LLC defining the planned metamorphosis of an existing Nicaraguan company - from a corporation with land assets but no business, into a family of inter-related businesses profitably expanding the Nicaraguan economy. The Business Plan was actually five business plans; each containing that unit's business strategy and approach, market analysis, specific capital investments required, as well as pro forma financial projections.

RESULTS: Utilizing the Business Plan developed by Concept Engineering Group, Pinnacle West, LLC has been able to secure several alternative commitments for the multi-million dollar capital infusion required.
